Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk in Ohio to deliver outstanding customer service while gaining exposure to merchandising and product knowledge. You must be available on our three busiest days and able to work until 10:00pm.

This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment with opportunities to grow and advance. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn inventory processes, with weekly pay and a path to further development

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized and efficient with processes.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

Hiring Immediately at no less than $14.50/hour. Starting rate is based on experience and the Union Pay Scale.

Required Scheduling Availability: Days are flexible, but you must be available on our 3 busiest sales days (F, S, S) and you must be available to be scheduled until 10:00pm.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

What You'll Do
