Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Expert in Wilmington, NC to assist guests, stock shelves, and keep the sales floor organized for an inviting shopping experience.

You will greet customers, help them locate items, and support backroom operations while maintaining a friendly, efficient store environment. Training covers cash handling, safety, and store procedures to ensure product availability and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests and assisting them to find what they need.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and support peers to maintain a positive, productive environment.
• Assist with stocking, backroom organization, pricing activities, and setup of promotional signs for GM areas.
• Follow safety policies and participate in digital fulfillment processes when required.
