Job summary

Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert in New Bern, NC who thrives in a fast-paced store environment. You will help guests by providing friendly service, locating products, and supporting daily store operations to ensure shelves are stocked and pricing is accurate.

In this role you will learn our procedures for replenishment, signage, and backroom organization while following safety rules and customer-first standards.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests at 10ft, greet at 4ft, assist with finding items and resolving issues.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and ensure a smooth experience.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize backroom, and manage merchandise setup and pricing activities.
• Operate power equipment if certified and follow safety procedures.
