Meijer is seeking a General Merchandise Dept Manager for our West Lafayette, IN store to lead a dynamic team and drive store performance. You will oversee onboarding, coaching, staffing plans, and daily operations, while aligning with corporate objectives to maximize sales and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members to provide clear direction.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions.

Responsabilités

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and development, and coaching.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership succession planning.
• Maintains Meijer standards and supports growth within the organization.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, budgeting, and forecasting staffing needs.
• Drives safety, compliance, and store condition management.
