Job summary

Palm Tree Club in Kansas City seeks an experienced General Manager to run daily operations, lead a dynamic team, and maintain an upscale dining and nightlife experience. You will ensure service excellence, cost control, and strong financial discipline while upholding the brand’s premium atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in venue management, fluency in English, and a proven record of leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 4-year college degree in restaurant management preferred.
• At least 5 years of restaurant/nightclub management experience.
• Must speak fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Strong people management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead a team and adapt to change.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day venue operations in line with company policies.
• Maintain professional image, cleanliness, uniforms and appearance.
• Manage service contracts with vendors and the Entertainment Director as applicable.
• Prepare Ops Statements and financial disclosures; take actions.
• Control P&L, cash handling, inventory, labor, and stock of beverage/food.
