Unidine is seeking a General Manager for Sandy Spring, MD. You will oversee operations, maintain client relations, manage budgets and drive financial performance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead a team, coordinate with chefs and staff, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and foster development across the operation. This role requires a strong track record in upscale food service leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years upscale food service experience, including 6 years in management.
• Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning.
• Proven track record achieving goals in line with policies and client requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Participates in employee meetings, reviews and training programs.
• Manages in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Complies with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards.
• Establishes rapport with staff, client and guest and other departments.
• Manages financial reporting with sales and P&L, budgeting and cash handling.
• Analyzes financial data and manages purchasing and inventory controls.
• Plans menus in consultation with chefs.
• Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper storage and use of food.
