Job summary

Tarheel Linen Service, Inc. seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead a standalone, service-based operation. You will direct production, maintenance, warehouse, and back office with hands-on leadership and a results-driven approach.

The successful candidate will drive safety, training, budgeting and P&L performance while fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus. A four-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain supervisory experience in a service-based operation for a multi-department setting.
• Experience with budgeting, P&L management and cost control is required.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor teams across production, maintenance, warehouse and front office.

Responsibilities

• Value and promote safety-minded culture across all locations and teams.
• Coordinate and ensure training and procedures are followed for all associates.
• Oversee assets including building, equipment, fleet and inventory.
• Lead in a team-driven, hands-on environment with accountability for results.
• Manage Processing Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, Office, and Distribution.
• Lead by example and motivate staff to meet objectives.
• Handle conflict resolution and staff development programs.
• Assume P&L responsibility and drive profitability.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
• Maintain professional communication with all management levels.
