Stress Free Auto Care in Irvine is searching for a General Manager to own shop performance across revenue, profitability, people, and customer experience. You will lead a high-performing team, hire and coach staff, and scale operations to support rapid growth.

You will analyze data, set priorities, and drive growth while controlling costs. Automotive experience helps, but leadership discipline, people development, and delivering measurable results are paramount as we expand the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a store, branch, department, or business against measurable financial and operating goals.
• Proven success driving revenue growth and improving business performance.
• Experience owning or influencing P&L including revenue, labor, margins and expenses.
• Demonstrated success hiring, coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable.
• Ability to develop leaders rather than only manage individual contributors.
• Strong commercial and operational judgment with data-driven decision making.
• Bias toward action to identify problems, build solutions, and drive results.
• High standards for customer experience, quality, accountability, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Own shop revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance.
• Own and drive toward individual revenue attainment in addition to store target.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales, improve retention, and create new revenue opportunities.
• Use financial data to diagnose performance gaps and take action.
• Manage labor, margins, expenses, and shop resources for sustainable performance.
• Build, lead, and retain a high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Own hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and employee development.
• Develop Assistant General Managers and future leaders for greater responsibility.
• Address underperformance quickly while recognizing strong performers.
• Oversee day-to-day shop execution across workflow, staffing, productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement efficiency improvements.
• Maintain high standards around repair quality, safety, and customer concerns.
