Job summary

River Creek Club in Leesburg, VA is seeking a General Manager to lead operations, set strategic direction, manage budgets, and drive member satisfaction. You will build a strong leadership team, ensure financial and operational goals are met, and maintaincommunication with the Regional team.

The role emphasizes development of department heads, data-driven performance reviews, and revenue optimization across Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Agronomy, Facilities, and Member Experience.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in club management, hospitality, or related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience managing budgets and the ability to make sound judgments in expense allocation to impact profitability.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business and financial strategy plans for the club.
• Monitor performance metrics against plans to ensure revenue targets are met across operations.
• Lead department heads across key areas and recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
• Oversee sales, marketing and net revenue strategies aligned with financial plans.
• Maintain expense control systems and manage revenue-to-payroll ratios.
• Foster member relationships and oversee facilities, services, and programming.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory obligations.
