Job summary

Tribrook Club, undergoing a major transformational project in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, seeks a hands‑on General Manager to lead operations for reopening the private club and overseeing service excellence.

You’ll recruit and develop a top team, set operating standards, and drive a culture of hospitality, connection and member satisfaction across all departments during launch and beyond.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have a strong background in personnel and business management.
• Experience in golf course maintenance, services, and operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and related regulations is a plus.
• Proven sales and marketing capabilities for club growth and member engagement.
• Ability to plan, assign, and supervise multiple golf course operations tasks.
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail.
• Comfort with basic budgeting, payroll processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and acts in line with the club's values and brand.
• Ensure first‑class service for member/guest experience; mentor staff to excellence.
• Hire, manage and develop department heads; meet regularly to align goals.
• Manage budget, revenues and expenses; generate periodic financial reports.
• Oversee payroll processing and employee records; ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement annual course marketing plans.
• Serve as community liaison and engage with groups and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Communicate with the Board of Directors as needed.
