Job summary

Levy in Kansas City is seeking a General Manager of Concessions to lead daily operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive fiscal performance across venues. You will oversee event prep, service, inventory, budgets, and team development, ensuring hospitality standards and safety compliance.

You will build strong management teams, monitor KPIs, address issues, and partner with venue leadership to deliver outstanding events and profitable concessions operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience managing large teams in high-volume food service or concessions.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and inventory controls.
• Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol-service requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
• Experience interpreting sales, labor, food-cost, and other operational metrics.

Job Summary

Lead the operation. Elevate the experience. The General Manager of Concessions will lead daily concessions operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team execution, operational consistency, and fiscal performance. This role will oversee concession operations, develop and support management teams, maintain service and hospitality standards, and drive opportunities to improve the guest and team member experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily concessions operations and ensure consistent execution across all locations.

Oversee event preparation, service, and post-event operations.

Monitor guest experience, service standards, product availability, and operational execution.

Recruit, train, develop, and manage concessions team members.

Establish and maintain service, hospitality, safety, and sanitation standards.

Review sales, labor, inventory, and other financial metrics to support fiscal performance.

Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, inventories, and other required operational reporting.

Address guest feedback and resolve operational issues.

Partner with venue leadership and internal departments to coordinate successful events.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with Levy, venue, food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service standards.

Develop management teams and support ongoing training and operational improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Previous management experience in food service, hospitality, concessions, or a comparable high-volume operation.

Experience managing large teams and high-volume operations.

Proficiency with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and inventory controls.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service requirements.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business and operational systems.

Experience interpreting sales, labor, food-cost, and other operational performance metrics.
