Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, upscale casual restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong P&L ownership, and the ability to build a culture of hospitality.

The position includes 6-8 weeks of paid out-of-market training with housing and travel support. You will oversee both FOH and BOH, drive sales, control costs, and develop your leadership team.

Qualifications

• Current or recent General Manager experience in a high-volume full-service restaurant.
• Experience leading FOH and BOH operations.
• Strong P&L and financial management experience.
• Ability to complete the required 6-8 weeks of out-of-market training.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong leadership team.
• Build a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, costs, and controllable expenses.
• Use results to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company systems, procedures, and standards.
• Build relationships within the local community to drive awareness and sales.
• Partner with regional leadership while owning restaurant results.
