Hotel Equities seeks a General Manager for the 86-room TownePlace Suites in Lubbock, TX. The GM leads all hotel operations, guest and employee satisfaction, HR, and financial performance, with accountability for strategy execution and community engagement.

Requirements include 2+ years in hotel leadership, proven brand performance with top brands, and strong P&L, budgeting, and cost controls. Proficiency with FOSSE, StayPMS and MGS is expected. Role demands integrity and independent leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hotel leadership experience.
• Impeccable results in a Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton, or similar brand.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L review, budget creation, and cost controls.
• Working knowledge of FOSSE, StayPMS and MGS.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Able to prospect, sell, and maintain accounts to positively impact revenues for a top-tier hotel.
• Team player with integrity and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of the brand service strategy to meet guest expectations and drive profit.
• Hold the property leadership team accountable for strategy execution.
• Guide professional development of the leadership team and staff.
• Leverage sales engines to maximize revenue and market share.
