Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY, seeks a General Manager for Land & Sea Systems to lead the Land & Sea Business Unit within the Space & Defense Group and drive performance across multiple sites.

The role reports to the SVP, Defense Division and requires 15+ years in aerospace/defense leadership with P&L accountability, strong customer relationships, and a track record of transforming and growing a business unit.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or technical field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other engineered industries.
• 5+ years of senior leadership with P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, PM, Quality, and BD.
• Strong customer-facing leadership including strategic relationships and negotiations.
• Demonstrated success in organizational change and growth initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Own BU P&L including growth, profitability, operational excellence, on-time delivery, quality, and safety.
• Lead and develop a high-performing organization and leadership bench.
• Oversee Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, PM, Supply Chain, Quality, and Business Development.
• Lead multi-site operations across Western NY and Orrville, OH.
• Develop and execute Land & Sea BU strategy aligned with Defense Division objectives.
• Drive customer engagement, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across the enterprise to leverage shared capabilities.
• Be a key member of the Defense Division leadership team.
