Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to drive sales, service and store operations in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.

The role requires leadership, hands-on supervision, managing inventory, budgets and customer relationships while meeting financial targets and upholding safety standards. This position is full-time and requires flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience managing a team of 10–20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong financial acumen with profitability focus and ability to analyze P&L statements.
• Ability to work long hours including weekends and holidays, with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales, holding team accountable to action plans
• Recruit, hire, develop, and coach store Team Members; manage scheduling and engagement
• Ensure execution of inventory and operational standards
• Coach team members to meet Customer expectations (DIY and Professional)
• Oversee on-duty responsibilities including coaching, floor/phone management, task assignment and safety
• Lead change management and foster an inclusive environment for Customers and Team Members
