Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group in Johnson City, TN is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure hospitality-focused leadership, and drive performance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years management experience in a quick service/fast food dining concept.
• Financial/Analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire staff and maintain a bench for future growth.
• Ensure marketing plans are executed, including proper installation of POP and menu board elements.
• Ensure restaurant is staffed properly and Team Members are properly trained to do their jobs through effective use of training programs.
• Open and operate the restaurant during Business Hours as defined by the District Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Operating Partner.
• Provide leadership by creating excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude, and commitment to company objectives.
• Maintain inventory levels and all equipment in excellent condition through approved vendors.
• Set an example by maintaining a high level of proficiency in restaurant operations and technology.
• Supervise in accordance with policies in the operations standards manual.
• Develop and motivate Assistants, Shift Leaders, and Team Members to perform at their highest potential.
• Review preliminary P/Ls and forward questions to the District Manager.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety and security policies for a safe environment.
