Job summary

Pret A Manger in Washington DC is seeking a General Manager to oversee all shop operations, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance. You will lead with energy, protect brand standards, and drive sales while maintaining a warm guest experience.

You will recruit and develop managers and frontline teams, ensure food safety and compliance, and optimize production and service during peak times. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in restaurants or hospitality.
• Proven P&L ownership and financial accountability.
• Experience developing and promoting internal talent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high-volume, fast-paced operations.
• Washington DC Food Handlers Card.
• Available to work in person +50 hours.
• Led a team of greater than 20 employees.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; work in hot/cold environments.
