Job summary

Replex Plastics seeks an experienced General Manager to lead operations, drive growth, and strengthen customer and supplier relationships from its Mount Vernon, Ohio facility. You will steer day-to-day operations, shape long-term strategy, and coach leaders to achieve profitability and quality goals.

The role requires a hands-on, collaborative leader with a track record in manufacturing and business development, plus a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Experience leading operations, sales, or business development.
• Demonstrated experience managing financial performance, including profit and loss responsibility.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and employees.
• A collaborative, hands-on leadership style.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the day-to-day operation of the business.
• Develop and execute strategies that support long-term growth and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance and key business metrics to guide decision-making.
• Lead development of new business opportunities and strategic account management.
• Coach and develop department leaders and build a culture of accountability.
• Lead initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability; support ERP and process improvements.
• Negotiate key purchasing agreements and material strategies to ensure reliable supply.
