Job summary

WorldBridge Partners seeks a General Manager for a manufacturing facility in the United States. You will oversee plant operations, ensure production targets are met, and drive safety and quality while executing business plans.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Business Management, Manufacturing, or Engineering, and 5+ years as Production/Plant Manager in a high-volume plastics environment, with a strong track record in lean, continuous improvement, and P&L oversight.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years as Production Manager or Plant Manager in a high-volume manufacturing operation.
• 5+ years in plastics manufacturing with understanding of color masterbatch, compounding or additives.

Responsibilities

• Operational responsibility for all areas of the plant.
• Hands on participation in defining operational objectives.
• Work with executives to establish budgets and strategic plans for growth and profitability.
• Establish key metrics and hold teams accountable to achieving them.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Oversee quality initiatives and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Oversee safety initiatives and ensure safety training for all employees.
• Oversee capital improvements and plant expansions in line with corporate plans.
• Full P&L responsibility, driving operations to meet budgets and plans.
