GRS Recruiting has partnered with a Northeast Ohio custom-engineered industrial manufacturer to identify a General Manager/Operations Leader who can own and optimize manufacturing operations. The role demands hands-on leadership across multiple functions and a track record of delivering measurable improvements in a growth-oriented environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and partner with the CEO to shape strategy while building a high-performing operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations leadership, ideally in custom or configured-to-order environments.
• Experience overseeing mechanical and controls engineering, machining, and supply chain.
• Strong leadership and people development skills with 40+ direct/indirect reports.
• Ability to install structure, develop procedures, and drive operational improvement independently.
• Decisive, results-oriented and comfortable in an entrepreneurial setting.
• Hands-on leader with initiative and strong follow-through.
