Job summary

The Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is hiring a General Manager for TitleMax Wichita, KS to lead store operations and drive revenue growth while upholding compliance and delivering world-class customer service.

You will coach and develop a team, implement local marketing strategies, evaluate loan/pawn applications, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. A strong leadership track record and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
• Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required.
• The ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently includes remaining in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time; moving and transporting up to 25 pounds; moving inside and outside of the store; and operating mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards.
• Coach, lead, and develop all team members to grow new business and store revenue.
• Identify local marketing strategies and partnerships to drive growth.
• Review loan/pawn applications and assess risk within established limits.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations; participate in audits.
• Supervise cash handling and loss prevention.
• Open/close procedures and train staff in keyholder duties.
• Participate in the selection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees.
• Develop staff schedules to meet store needs.
• Handle complex customer situations with integrity.
• Maintain store appearance and planogram; manage marketing materials; perform duties outside office when applicable.
• Maintain full-time attendance, including weekends (40 hours/week).
