Job summary

Steak ’n Shake is seeking a General Manager with an owner mindset to pursue Franchisee Partner opportunities. This full-time role offers a path to ownership and a compensation package up to $70,000 plus benefits, with focus on hospitality, team leadership, and data-driven performance.

You will lead from the floor, manage costs, and recruit/retain a high-performing team while upholding brand and food safety standards across the restaurant network.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QSR or fast-casual GM experience.
• Fluency in P&L management—you can quote your food cost, labor %, and comp trend from memory.
• Hands-on leadership style. Comfortable on the grill, in the window, wherever you’re needed.
• Consistent work history; builders, not job-hoppers.
• Owner’s mindset: every dollar, every guest, every team member matters—soon it’s your name on the door.
