STEAK ’N SHAKE is seeking a General Manager–Partnership Opportunity to lead from the floor, own the numbers, and build a winning team in a franchisee setting. This full-time role offers a pathway to ownership and franchise partner eligibility, with a compensation structure up to $80,000 and strong benefits.

Candidates should bring 3+ years of QSR GM experience, hands-on leadership, and an owner’s mindset—every guest and dollar matters as you grow into ownership of the store.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QSR or fast-casual GM experience.
• Fluency in P&L management—you can quote food cost, labor %, and comp trend from memory.
• Hands-on leadership style, comfortable on the grill, in the window, wherever needed.
• An owner’s mindset: every dollar, every guest, every team member matters.

Responsibilities

• Improve people’s lives by delivering hospitality and excellent service.
• Provide the gold standard in service to guests—creating the most hospitable experience.
• Lead team from the floor across production line, drive-through, and dining room.
• Recruit, train, and hold the team accountable to high performance.
• Uphold Steak ’n Shake’s brand, food safety, and hospitality standards.
