Job summary

High Hotels is opening Tempo by Hilton Bethlehem, a lifestyle hotel in the SouthSide Arts District with 140 guestrooms, a rooftop restaurant and bar, and wellness-focused amenities. We are seeking a General Manager to lead overall operations, guest experiences, and financial performance.

The GM will drive brand standards, build a high-performing team, manage budgets, and foster a positive workplace culture while collaborating with ownership and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive hotel management or operations leadership experience required.
• Experience in a full-service, lifestyle, or branded hotel environment preferred.
• Food & beverage leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, labor costs, and operational goals.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and revenue management principles.
• Proficiency with hotel PMS and POS systems; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service preferred.
• Hilton brand experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership and direction for all hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, sales, and coworker engagement.
• Ensures exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high service standards and responding to feedback.
• Leads, develops, and supports hotel leadership teams and coworkers through recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance development.
• Oversees all food & beverage operations to ensure outstanding service, profitability, and brand compliance.
• Develops and executes business strategies, operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and revenue initiatives.
• Monitors performance metrics and implements continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promotes positive coworker relations and collaborates with HR on engagement and retention.
• Represents the hotel with ownership, partners, and community organizations.
