Job summary

Lineage Logistics is expanding its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operation and seeking a General Manager to lead a new site. You will serve as a servant leader, develop talent, and build a high-performing team while driving accountability and engagement.

You will oversee strategic direction, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and partner with Sales to grow accounts. A continuous improvement mindset will guide you to optimize labor, costs, and service levels at this warehouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years' Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with Six Sigma and/or LEAN continuous improvement.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Achieve company performance goals including internal and external KPIs, such as Labor to Revenue (LTR), truck turn times, and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze all warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager in marketing and sales efforts, including planning new account strategies, prospecting new accounts, sales calls, developing and quoting rates, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
• Establish and ensure facilities have excellent focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor and control budgets, capital expenditures, material handling equipment and space utilization to meet corporate targets.
• Facilitate and support initiatives that ensure proper receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of food to satisfy safety standards.
