Job summary

Entek HVAC, part of Midway Mechanical Services, seeks an accomplished General Manager to lead its Vancouver, WA commercial HVAC operations. You will own the P&L, shape strategy, and drive growth across service, maintenance, and construction while nurturing customer relationships.

Lead a high-performing team, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and advance energy-efficient building solutions in the Portland–Vancouver region. A strong leadership track record in HVAC is essential.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership experience at GM/VP/Operations level in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting.
• Proven track record managing full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and growth.
• Strong understanding of service, maintenance, retrofit, and design-build delivery.

We're seeking an accomplished General Manager - Commercial HVAC to provide executive leadership for our commercial mechanical services business. This is a true P&L leadership role with the authority to shape strategy, develop people, strengthen customer relationships, and drive profitable growth across service, maintenance, construction, and electrical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

Provide overall leadership for the business while establishing strategic priorities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring long-term profitable growth across all departments.

Full P&L Ownership

Lead financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and operational planning while delivering sustainable revenue growth and strong operating margins.

Market Growth Strategy

Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand commercial and industrial service, preventive maintenance agreements, retrofit projects, design-build work, electrical services, and energy-efficient building solutions throughout the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.

Operations Leadership

Provide executive oversight for service operations, construction, project management, dispatch, and field teams to ensure exceptional execution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Customer Experience

Champion a customer-first culture focused on responsiveness, quality workmanship, and long-term partnerships that strengthen Entek’s reputation throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Team Development

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Business Development

Partner with sales and business development leaders to expand strategic customer relationships, grow market share, increase recurring maintenance revenue, and identify new business opportunities.

What You Bring

Executive Leadership Experience

Demonstrated success as a General Manager, Vice President, Operations Manager, Regional Manager, or senior operational leader within commercial HVAC, mechanical contracting, electrical contracting, or related building services.

Financial & Business Acumen

Proven experience managing full P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, operational planning, and driving profitable growth.

Industry Expertise

Strong understanding of commercial HVAC service, preventive maintenance programs, mechanical construction, electrical services, retrofit projects, and design-build delivery.
