ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy auto auction location. You will drive customer and employee experience, execute strategic initiatives, and oversee financial performance.

The role requires proven leadership, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to operations. You will manage P&L, payroll, and inventory controls while promoting safety, compliance, and a culture of servant leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with auction and automotive experience or high school diploma/GED with 5+ years of auction and automotive experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site as the primary manager, setting tone for customer and employee experience.
• Drive growth opportunities and engage customers through site leadership and visits with sales staff.
• Oversee P&L review, reconcile accounts, and manage payroll and expenses to support financial objectives.
• Monitor KPIs, leverage technology, and implement action plans for improvements.
• Mentor and develop site management, recruit and onboard staff to meet business needs.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with policies and corporate directives.
