Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 5 - Food for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, located in Washington, DC. MedStar Georgetown is one of the D.C. area's oldest academic teaching hospitals.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for innovation, training, process improvement, and team building. This position will oversee all food services for the 609 licensed hospital, including retail, patient, and catering services.

Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Deliver high-quality food services including retail, catering, and patient meal management operations
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships, especially in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative
  • Develop strategic plans
  • Ensure HACCP, regulatory, and standards compliance
