Job summary

Kinsa is recruiting for a: General Manager – Ingredients Processing

Location: Hancock, WI

Mission:

Our client, a producer of premium ingredient products, is looking for a General Manager to add to their team. In this role you will be accountable for meeting production goals, maintaining regulatory compliance, controlling costs, and building a high-performance culture rooted in safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Successful candidates MUST HAVE experience in a food processing plant environment (and/or other singular qualifier under Competencies/Culture below).

• Compensation: 120-150k, bonus

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Lead all plant operations
• Develop and execute all production plans, schedules and labor
• Oversee all inventory
• Analyze KPs and drive improvements
• Own and lead all Quality and Food Safety programs, including SQF, HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and allergen control
• Ensure SOPs are written, implemented, maintained, and followed for all processes and equipment
• Maintain audit readiness and lead corrective and preventive action programs
• Ensure equipment readiness, safety compliance, and timely repairs
• Review financial and operational reports to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or related field
• 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in a food processing environment
• Experience with produce processing
• Knowledge of quality assurance in a food processing environment
• Experience in SQF HACCP, GMPs, OSHA, and FDA regulations
