GQT Movies is hiring a General Manager to direct all aspects of theater operations and lead a dynamic team. You will manage personnel, facilities, vendors, and finances while ensuring top-tier guest experiences and seamless daily operations.

This role requires adaptability, high energy, and a passion for service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Prior management experience and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have 2+ years of management experience in a related field.
• Must have a positive team-focused attitude and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of theater operations and manage personnel, facility, vendor, and financial aspects.
• Communicate with company leadership to coordinate duties.
• Oversee operation, cleanliness, and theater performance.
• Be available outside scheduled hours to handle urgent matters.
• Learn theater systems and develop basic problem-solving skills related to theater technology.
• Oversee money, asset, and inventory management; safeguard company property.
• Hire, train, schedule and develop team members per company standards.
• Open and close the theater at start/end of business day.
• Provide excellent guest experiences and address guest concerns proactively and Reactively.
• Coordinate marketing and sales activities with the corporate office.

Job Description

• Our General Managers direct and are responsible for all aspects of theater operations. The General Manager position is a dynamic position - the ability to adapt and perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment is a must.

Generally, work tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Managing and having responsibility of all aspects of the theater, including personnel, facility, vendor, and financial management
• Communicating timely, clearly, and effectively with company leadership to coordinate the execution of duties
• Providing keen oversight of the operation, cleanliness, and performance of the theater
• Being available, outside scheduled working hours, to field time‑sensitive or urgent communications from theater
• Learning all systems related to delivering our services and developing basic problem‑solving skills related to theater technology
• Overseeing money, asset, and inventory management and acting as the custodian of company property
• Hiring, training, scheduling and developing team members using company standards as a guide
• Opening and closing the theater for the start or end of a business day
• Providing an excellent guest experience by proactively and reactively addressing guest concerns
• Serving as a liaison with to the corporate office in coordinating marketing and sales activities
