Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have 2+ years of management experience in a related field.
• Must have a positive team-focused attitude and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all theater operations and staff.
• Communicate with company leadership to coordinate duties.
• Oversee cleanliness, performance, and guest experience.
• Be available outside scheduled hours to field urgent communications.
• Learn all systems related to theater technology and develop problem-solving skills.
• Oversee money, asset, and inventory management and custodianship of company property.
• Hire, train, schedule and develop team members using company standards.
• Open and close the theater for start/end of day.
• Proactively and reactively address guest concerns to provide excellent guest experiences.
• Coordinate marketing and sales activities with the corporate office.

This position is well suited for charismatic, driven, and high-energy management professionals with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences (loving movies is a plus; but not required!).

Job Description

• Our General Managers direct and are responsible for all aspects of theater operations. The General Manager position is a dynamic position - the ability to adapt and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Generally, work tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Managing and having responsibility of all aspects of the theater, including personnel, facility, vendor, and financial management
• Communicating timely, clearly, and effectively with company leadership to coordinate the execution of duties
• Providing keen oversight of the operation, cleanliness, and performance of the theater
• Being available, outside scheduled working hours, to field time-sensitive or urgent communications from theater
• Learning all systems related to delivering our services and developing basic problem-solving skills related to theater technology
• Overseeing money, asset, and inventory management and acting as the custodian of company property
• Hiring, training, scheduling and developing team members using company standards as a guide
• Opening and closing the theater for the start or end of a business day
• Providing an excellent guest experience by proactively and reactively addressing guest concerns
• Serving as a liaison with to the corporate office in coordinating marketing and sales activities
