Job summary

GQT Pittsburgh Mills Cinemas is seeking a General Manager to lead all aspects of theater operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong team performance. The role requires managing staff, finances, facilities, and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior management experience, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic entertainment venue.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must have 2+ years of management experience in a related field.
• Must have a positive team-focused attitude and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all theater operations and staff.
• Communicate with company leadership to coordinate duties.
• Oversee cleanliness, performance, and guest experience.
• Be available outside scheduled hours to field urgent communications.
• Learn all systems related to theater technology and develop problem-solving skills.
• Oversee money, asset, and inventory management and custodianship of company property.
• Hire, train, schedule and develop team members using company standards.
• Open and close the theater for start/end of day.
• Proactively and reactively address guest concerns to provide excellent guest experiences.
• Coordinate marketing and sales activities with the corporate office.
