Seeking a General Manager in Houston, TX who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a specific division, lab, or facility, including financial performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. They manage teams, implement strategic plans, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Performance: Manage P&L, budgets, and revenue targets.
Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
Team Management: Lead and develop teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Customer Relations: Build strong customer relationships, ensure timely responses to needs, and promote additional services.
Quality and Compliance: Maintain quality systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Examples of Specific Responsibilities:

Continuous Improvement: Focus on improvement projects in business and physical processes, with special attention to safety and quality programs.
Quality Management: Implement and maintain the QMS, ensuring necessary controls are in place.
Resource Management: Manage resources in a way that promotes customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and employee satisfaction.

Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and extend accreditations (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025 and Nadcap) and ensure compliance with other regulatory requirements.

Management Experience: 8+ years of management experience, preferably with 100+ employees.
Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in the relevant field (e.g., aerospace, energy, defense).
Financial Acumen: Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, and financial performance
