Five Guys is seeking a General Manager who will own the restaurant—people, performance, and everything in between. This hands-on role requires leading from the front, coaching teams, and ensuring food quality and safety while controlling costs.

You’ll build a strong team, mentor future leaders, drive guest satisfaction, and grow the business through community engagement. Expect a fast-paced environment with real ownership and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry with responsibility for financial results.
• Open availability and ability to work varying shifts each week.
• Desire to be a hands-on teacher, cheerleader, coach and mentor to the crew.
• Strong owner-like commitment to operations and customer service.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative approach to growing the business including community engagement and fundraisers.
• ServSafe certification is required.

As a General Manager, you’ll take ownership of your restaurant — the people, the performance, and everything in between. This is a hands-on role, not a position managed from the sidelines. You’ll lead from the front and are expected to know, perform, and coach every aspect of the Crew Member, Shift Manager, and Assistant Manager roles. From building a great team and developing future leaders to jumping on the grill during a rush, protecting food quality and safety, controlling costs, and delivering an awesome guest experience, you set the pace, raise the bar, and make sure your restaurant is ready to win every day.
