Position Overview

The General Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and cultural leadership of the restaurant. This role demands a confident and thoughtful leader who thrives in a high-touch, detail-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold and lead with company values through culture, communication, and coaching
  • Ensure the restaurant consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, training, facilities, and financials
  • Lead and develop a management team through 1:1 coaching, team meetings, and performance reviews
  • Create and manage schedules, budgets, and operational goals
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with health, labor, and safety standards
  • Maintain a strong floor presence and engage regularly with guests
  • Respond to guest feedback and online reviews with professionalism and care
  • Foster a culture of learning, growth, and hospitality-driven leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of management experience in full-service, upscale or fine dining restaurants
  • 2+ years as a General Manager in a similar setting
  • Strong knowledge of P&L management, scheduling, cost control, and labor strategy
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent
  • Passion for high-quality food, beverage, and service
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
