You’ll have the unique opportunity to drive massive growth in one of the most important markets for Sensirion.

Your Impact

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and success of your subsidiary. You will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, manage key customer relationships, drive financial performance, and ensure operational excellence — all while upholding Sensirion’s values and standards.

Your Responsibilities

Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team

  • Train, mentor and recruit top sales talent.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance management.

Drive Strategic Sales Growth

  • Align global market and submarket OKRs (objectives and key results) with regional priorities.
  • Execute and adapt sales strategies based on market conditions.
  • Ensure sales initiatives are effectively communicated and executed.
  • Develop the US organization enabling long-term growth.
  • Advocate for US strategic initiatives at headquarters.

Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships

  • Be actively involved with the respective KAM in the development of the top accounts and guide during complex situations.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues.

Ensure Operational and Financial Excellence

  • Oversee budgets, revenue generation, and cost control.
  • Analyze financial performance and drive profitability.
  • Optimize operational procedures for efficiency.

Manage Compliance and Risk

  • Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential business risks.

Engage Key Stakeholders

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the subsidiary and corporate leadership.
  • Act as bridge between Swiss and US culture and work with HR to get communication and collaboration to the best it can be between US subsidiary and headquarters.
  • Represent the subsidiary in external engagements with partners, suppliers, and local authorities.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience (> 10 years) in B2B sales leadership, ideally within a high-tech or industrial sector.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for sales excellence.
  • Engineering or Science education and/or an MBA.
  • Industry experience with sensors, semiconductor or electronic components preferred.
