Project General Manager – Look & Signage | Global Sports Event

This is your chance to play a leading role in one of the biggest sporting events on the planet. Working behind the scenes on this Global Sports Event, you’ll take charge of the visual identity — from venue signage to wayfinding — helping shape how millions of fans experience the tournament.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the end-to-end strategy, planning and delivery of all signage, wayfinding and branding across multiple high-profile venues
Overseeing day-to-day operations — managing crews, logistics, equipment, and on-site installs
Acting as the key liaison between internal teams, Project stakeholders, and third-party vendors
Collaborating with designers and creative agencies to ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints
Managing multiple teams including Design, Wayfinding, Dressing, and Operations
Overseeing installation timelines, artwork approvals, and final execution across both competition and non-competition venues
Ensuring everything runs to plan — from venue readiness to post-event debriefs
Driving process improvements, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with the brand standards.

Main Skills Needed:

Solid experience leading projects for large-scale global events — ideally 5+ years in live sport or entertainment
Proven ability to manage design, production, and installation of signage and branding at scale
Comfortable running operations teams — including crew deployment, transport logistics, and on-site troubleshooting
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills
Exceptionally organised with sharp attention to detail and a strategic mindset
Confident working under pressure and juggling competing priorities
