As they continue to grow, they are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineering Manager to lead initiatives within their Communications and Content platform.

Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager I, you will oversee a team of 4–6 engineers and play a critical role in driving the success of a next-generation consent management platform. We are looking for a servant leader who is self-sufficient, collaborative, and passionate about fostering an inclusive and innovative culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of 4–6 engineers.
• Oversee the design and development of a Consent Management Data Store, working closely with Product and Business partners.
• Guide the team in creating high-quality, timely code deliverables.
• Champion Agile methodologies and facilitate scrum ceremonies.
• Manage integrations across Apollo Router, GraphQL, ODS, RDS, and REST APIs.
• Design and develop infrastructure for collecting, transforming, and distributing customer data.
• Provide architectural direction for backend consent management solutions and lead production support activities.
• Foster servant leadership, inclusivity, and collaboration within the team and across the organization.
• Promote a positive, motivating, and growth-oriented team culture.
  
  

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong development foundation.
• 2+ years of proven experience in people management and project leadership.
• Expertise in AWS/cloud technologies and infrastructure (Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS).
• Strong background with GraphQL / Apollo Router integrations.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Java, Scala, Python, C#, or Snowflake SQL.
• Solid experience building cloud-native microservices.
• Exposure to data pipelines (e.g., DBT) is a plus.
• Experience with data mining/programming tools (SAS, SQL, R, Python) and database technologies (PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, Greenplum).
• Excellent communication, servant leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable adopting and deploying new tools and technologies.
