Job summary

tggaccounting seeks an experienced General Manager for a busy Cambridge, MA restaurant and cafe. You will lead day-to-day operations across a bustling café and full-service lunch and dinner, with a consistent day schedule and weekend time off.

The ideal candidate has prior GM experience in full-service restaurants, excels at building teams, delivering guest-focused service, and driving restaurant performance in a stable, hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of General Manager experience in a full-servicerestaurant
• Strong people leadership and team development skills
• Hospitality-first mentality
• Experience managing multiple service periods and operating styles

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across café, lunch, and dinner service
• Manage, coach, and develop a large FOH team and supporting management
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, hiring, onboarding, training and development
• Maintain high standards for hospitality, service, cleanliness and guest experience
• Manage high-volume shifts while staying calm and on the floor
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls and operational processes
• Manage reservations, private events, and takeout/delivery operations
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust operations to volume
• Partner with ownership on sales goals and business performance
• Create accountability while maintaining a positive, team-oriented culture
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, service, and operations
• Develop future leaders within the organization

We are partnering with a well-established, high-volume restaurant group in Cambridge to hire an experienced GeneralManager to lead a unique all-day concept combining a bustling café with a full-service lunch and dinner restaurant. And unlike many GM opportunities in hospitality, this role offers a schedule designed to provide some consistency:
