Job summary

Wings Over Madison is seeking a motivated General Manager to lead our team and own the guest experience. You’ll drive operations, coach teammates, and shape a welcoming culture while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

As GM, you’ll recruit, train, and develop talent, manage daily operations, and ensure top food quality, safety, and hospitality. This role offers growth potential within Wings Over and a dynamic community presence.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience.
• At least 3 years of food service experience, including 1 year in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

As our General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the restaurant’s people, performance, and guest experience.

Build a Winning Team

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop talented team members.

Run a Great Restaurant

• Oversee daily operations to deliver outstanding food quality, speed, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and operational execution.
• Handle challenges confidently and keep your team focused during busy shifts.

• Take ownership of restaurant performance, including sales, labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Use operational reports and performance trends to make smart business decisions.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

We’re looking for someone who brings more than management experience — we want a leader who can motivate people, solve problems, and get results.

Here's what we’re looking for:

• At least 2 years of management experience.

• Confidence managing restaurant operations independently.
• Ability to coach employees, manage performance, and build strong teams.
• Business-minded approach to controlling costs, driving sales, and improving results.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and current insurance.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
