1st Lake Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Lost Bayou apartment community in Metairie, LA. Join a hands-on team responsible for electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, and make-readies to keep residents safe and comfortable.

A $750 sign-on bonus is available to qualified applicants. You will troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, prepare vacant units, document service requests, and deliver top-notch resident service while upholding safety standards and company

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and identify effective repair solutions
• Perform routine maintenance for residents, including electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs
• Prepare vacant apartments for new resident move-ins
• Complete work safely and in compliance with company safety standards

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Lost Bayou apartment community in Metairie to help provide a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained home for our residents.

From electrical and plumbing repairs to appliance troubleshooting and apartment make-readies, every day brings something new. If you’re dependable, hands-on, and enjoy helping people, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For:

• A dependable, team-oriented attitude and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance tasks
• Reliable transportation and your own basic tools
• Need additional tools? We can assist with tool purchases when necessary.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
