Sentara Belle Harbour in Suffolk, VA is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance on building structures and systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related components. The role requires a high school diploma or trade school education and a valid VA or NC driver's license.

1–2 years of general maintenance experience is preferred, with onsite, full-time work. The position is based at the Belle Harbour campus and offers a comprehensive benefits package,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/equivalent or Trade School ed.
• Valid VA or NC Driver's License in good standing.
• 1-2 years general maintenance experience preferred; healthcare experience desired.
• Basic understanding of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, and facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on building structures and systems as directed.
• Address and troubleshoot issues related to floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, plumbing and electrical components.
• Communicate issues and resolve service requests to maintain safe, efficient facilities.
