Job summary

Bass Pro Shops seeks a General Maintenance technician to handle diverse maintenance tasks across store facilities in Hamburg, PA. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical work, supervise others, and coordinate with external contractors to maintain equipment and facilities.

The role requires broad building trades knowledge, a high mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and energy/waste programs. Part-time benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1-2 year vocational training.
• High mechanical ability.
• Willing to work with and oversee others.
• Verifiable experience in maintenance related fields.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs: lamp changes, fixture repairs/installation, diagnostic capability.
• Perform plumbing repairs and installations/replacements.
• Maintain basic understanding of HVAC operation and maintenance.
• Perform basic mechanical repair on tractors, forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and other equipment.
• Repair building components: painting, wall repair, carpentry, flooring, etc.
• Conduct energy conservation and waste management tune-ups at store level.
• Maintain equipment necessary to perform work and complete preventative maintenance.
• Oversee service contractors delivering routine maintenance and repairs.
• All other duties as assigned.
