Job summary

The General Maintenance Engineer at Hyatt Hotels Corporation will perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas, including preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public spaces. The role involves basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment and requires good communication to serve guests and colleagues.

• Strong customer service and trouble shooting skills are also required

• Candidate must have open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb
• Must have physical stamina to lift, push and pull moderate amounts of weight on a consistent basis

The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. Thisposition will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.
