Job summary

Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming hotel environment. This role covers general maintenance, repairs, and entry-level preventative tasks across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of building maintenance experience, with hotel or hospitality experience preferred.

Qualifications

Summary

As a General Maintenance Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring our hotel remains safe, comfortable, and welcoming for every guest. This position is responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and entry-level preventative maintenance throughout guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front-of-house areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. A minimum of one year of building maintenance experience is required, while hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.

Exceptional customer service skills are essential. Our Maintenance Engineers interact with guests and team members every day and should take pride in responding professionally, courteously, and efficiently to maintenance needs.

This position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as business needs dictate.
