Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney to manage pre-litigation work on personal injury matters, primarily automotive, and to lead a team of 6–10 case managers.

The successful candidate will guide clients, draft and file pre-litigation documents, and oversee settlement negotiations while ensuring compliance with KPIs and quality client service. Requires a JD from an accredited law school and active DE State Bar membership.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active DE State Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury.
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all pre-litigation work daily.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
• Manage the release approval process.
• Lead a team of 6-10 case managers.
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.
