Job summary

Miller Industries is hiring a General Laborer for the Processing Department at our south location in Fenton, MI. The position is on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime as needed for production, offering on-the-job training and potential advancement to a full-time machine operator role with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task with a high level of detail.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and verify measurements.
• Must follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload automated laser cutting machine.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety procedures.
• Perform inspection of finished products and document results.
• Assist in other manufacturing areas as needed.
• Quality check fabricated parts to meet specifications.
• Load and unload trucks with a Hi-Lo.
