Job summary

Miller Industries is seeking a Journeyman Electrician - 1st Shift at our North Location in Fenton, MI. You will install wiring, control gear, and motor circuits for our new production line, read blueprints, and ensure safe operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Michigan Journeyman Electrician License (3+ years).
• Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring.
• Experience bending EMT and Rigid conduit.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and components of machinery per code and blueprints.
• Install control and distribution apparatus, including motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and panels.
• Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for machines and equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve problems in electrical circuits and equipment using testing instruments.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
• Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.
