Job summary

Miller Industries, located in Fenton, Michigan, seeks a Quality Inspector for the 1st Shift to inspect parts and assemblies to drawings and prints. You will initiate non-conformance reports and ensure units meet quality control procedures and customer requirements.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of quality inspection experience, with proficiency in hand inspection tools, and the ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and tolerances.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand inspection tools for measurements
• Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and understand tolerances
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to drawings and prints
• Initiate non-conformance reports for parts not meeting specs
• Ensure units meet quality control procedures and customer requirements
• Initiate corrective action requests for recurring quality issues
• Complete and distribute all quality records; perform specialized testing as required
