Job summary

Miller Industries, LLC in Michigan is seeking an Experienced Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder for the 1st shift. You will fabricate and weld conveyor components, stairs, platforms, and baggage handling equipment following detailed drawings.

Qualifications

• 5 years of fabrication welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Arc) with a variety of metals (mild steel, aluminum, stainless).
• Ability to read cut lists and engineering drawings for cutting/assembling materials.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to promote a safe work culture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of teamwork and independent work.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, fit and weld structural components per drawings.
• Set up and operate welding machines according to job specs.
• Operate grinders and other shop equipment safely.
• Identify safety hazards and address issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and support team goals.
